Dressing For Comfort

Hi guys! 

Quick question! What do you guys usually wear during your lazy days? During instances when you only have some errands to do and you don't really feel like strutting such a complex outfit. Normally I like dressing up; and I don't really feel comfortable with myself when I dress down at times. However, we all have our days when we just really don't feel like searching our closet for great matches to wear for that day. 

I thought that this blog will help you (I hope) to dress for comfort, though still looking a little bit dressy and appropriate. 

So this was the outfit I wore to college today. I only had a 2-hour class and some extra hours spent in the library, so I didn't really bother much about what I was going to wear. 

Outfit:

Tee: Forever 21

Shorts: Gap Jeans DIY

Scarf: From mom

Flats: Vincci

Blue necklace & Bangles: Random shops

All the pieces in this outfit are all our basic essentials. Black tee, shorts, black flats & of course a scarf! A scarf would always make your outfit a little bit dressier and that's why I usually just wear them when I want to pull off a simple outfit or when my outfit's too plain. So yup, one fashion essential that every girl should have would be a scarf; trust me ;)

Day & Night Look 2

Hi guys!

This is the second time that I'm doing a post on how to transition your day outfit into a night outfit. Like I said before, I do this most of the time because I usually don't go home to change when I plan to go clubbing at night. I normally just wear what I have on during the day & that's why I pick my outfits carefully on Fridays :p

So this would just be a quick post of my outfit of the day and outfit of the night look :)

Day:

I wore my black and white dress that comes with a belt with a long-sleeve top to give the outfit a more casual look. I also paired it with some blue flats that goes well with the long-sleeve shirt. Some  black & white bangles and a silver long necklace completed this look for me. 

Night: 

Just took off the long-sleeve top and added some blue pumps and TADA! you have your clubbing outfit. 

Outfit:

Bangles: Chamelon

Necklace: Random shop

Heels Collection!

Hi guys!

I didn't blog for around 2 weeks now and that's because I've just been really lazy plus I have nothing to blog about - but since I was so excited about getting my package the other day from online shopping, it gave me an idea on what to write about today. 

So today, I'll be showing you guys my heels collection! I'm just beginning to really love heels probably during the past year so I wanna show you guys everything I got. There's nothing really wow about it, as of course I don't really have hundreds of heels... (yet. hahaha) But these are my babies and I love all these pairs. 

So let's begin shall weeee?

 That's it! I get most of my shoes from brands like Charles & Keith, Vincci, Zalora (online shop), Eclipse and Primadonna. I'm not a fan of spending hundred's of RM for shoes, honestly. I mean right now, I buy most of my shoes by my own money & I just don't think splurging on them is worth it. Maybeee in the future, when I start to earn 6 digits ;) haha. As probably some of you notice I've lots of pairs in neutral colors; like nude, black and brown. I think I'm very safe when it comes to shoes. In choosing shoes that I buy, I feel like I have to at least be able to pair them up with a couple of outfits; If not, I wouldn't bother buying them coz it'd be just a waste. Anyhow, I think that I should get my collection a lil bit more exciting, so from now on, I would purchase pairs in different colors or something. :p I'll keep you guys posted.

August Favorites!

Hi guys! 

I'd be blogging about the things that I usually wore or used during the previous month of August. Most of the stuff here were things that I used during my holiday; as some of you know I've been having my college break for a while now. And on Monday, i'll  be going back to school again. :( Not just that, i'd be going to a whole different world now, because it's the start of my degree. So bye bye ADP! Hopefully my first day would run smoothly and meet nice people. Oh and btw, I'd be majoring in Advertising :) finally made up my mind. Haha. 

So here are my top 10 products/fashion pieces for the month of August: 

Make up:
1. Open Eyes Pro by L'oreal Paris.
- Normally, I don't really use eye shadows. That's because I really had no idea how to apply them. But I got this product last month, started practicing with it this month, and finally learnt! I love the neutral colors in this as well. 

Skincare:
2. Natrulift: Firming Day Cream from The Body Shop. 
- I figured that I should replace my daily moisturizer with a day cream instead. So I bought this recently & I think it's one of the best decisions I've ever made to add on my skincare routine. It really makes my skin feel smooth and moisturized. It's also makes a huge difference on my skin, as it makes my huge pores appear smaller. Some cons though, it takes a long time to dry and feels quite sticky after application. 

3. Lychee Blossom Body Mist from The Body Shop. 

- Another purchase from The Body Shop. Loving this scent. This is one of my most used perfumes of the month. It's halfway gone and I just got it. Surprisingly, I even used this one more than my all time fave Clinique: Happy this month. 

Accessories:

4. Statement necklace from Vincci Accessories. 

- I got this necklace 2 years ago, and I've always found it really really gorgeous, but never had a chance to wear it more than once. Now that I have more tube tops, I could definitely rock this more than ever.

5. "Longchamp" bag from my friend Val.

- This is the bag I've been using like everyday this month. Thanks Val! 

6. Shoals/Scarves

- Going back to my old fave fashion trend; wearing scarves/shoals! They just really turn a simple outfit into something more stylish.

Clothes:

7. American Flag Print shorts from Denim Co.

- My aunt got this for me from UK because I really loved the trend. But when I got it 2 months ago, I found it quite hard to wear stuff with it. But not this month! I was able to wear this more than once, and I get a lot of compliments with it. :p

8. Minty Green jacket with a hoody from Hurley. 

- My mom got this in a FOS warehouse sale few months ago for only 10 bucks! I know, amazing. Never knew she had it because she's never wore it. Found it in her wardrobe and I've been using it a lot now. My room tends to get really cold (like it that way). 

Shoes:

9.  Peep-toe heels in Beige from Dolce Soles @ Zalora.

- My current favorite because they're quite comfy and cmon just look at them! They're beautiful!

10. Fave outfit of the month:
- I just posted about this outfit yesterday on my blog and I've said it all why I like this outfit very much :)
