One Dress For a Day/Night Look

Hi guys!

Today, in Malaysia, we are celebrating the Malaysian Independence Day (Merdeka). So Happy Merdeka to all of my Malaysian friends out there! Moving on, yesterday was pretty hectic. My boyfriend and I planned to go out during the day, because he had things to do and I just decided that I'd accompany him. After his errands, we would go to the gym and at night we were going to Changkat with some of our friends. That's why I decided to wear this dress that could both be a top and a dress. So I'd wear it down during the day, and just wear the dress itself at night. Pretty awesome idea; because I hate having to carry lots of clothes in my bag. 

So this was me dressing the the outfit down during the day by putting on some high-waisted shorts & flats:

I decided to stick with flats the whole day for one reason; I just didn't feel like it was a "heels-day". Ahhh you guys know what I mean. 

Nothing really vavavoom-ish in this outfit, but I love this dress/top very much because it's so colorful, stylish, and the material is chiffon-like, so it's not stuffy to wear. I was walking around KL today, and as we all know, it's really hot in Malaysia; but wearing this long-sleeve top wasn't a problem at all.

Photoshoot Outfits!

As might some of you know, I have participated in a photoshoot with some of my girlfriends, Val & Sarah, last week. We were all really excited about it because it was our first time doing a photoshoot together; and we have been planning to do it for a long time now, it's just that we don't really find the time. But finally! We were all free on that Friday and headed ourselves to Puchong! 

So today, I just want to show you guys the outfits that I wore for the photoshoot. I wanted to give you a glimpse of the outcome of the whole thing, but unfortunately I don't have all the pictures right now.

So let's start with the first outfit:

Summer 2012 Holiday (2nd Week)

Hi guys! 

The second week of my holiday just passed and I actually thought that orientation for my new degree was supposed to be this Monday; but it wasn't! So I still have another week of holidays. Yey me!

My baby's cute picture that he sent on whatsapp. New hairstyles that I learnt from YouTube. 

Dinner with Amal, Shaff, Amsyar, Val, Lexi and Pete at Spaghetti Grill in Paradigm Mall. Photoshoot with my girlfriends Sarah & Val @ Puchong. Arrival of my newly purchased heels from Zalora. Night out with my buddies Val, Lexi, Juliet, Adrey, Pete and Wei Liang at Gosh Club. Church on Sunday. Relaxing at home by the end of the week and enjoying it :)

New heels!

Hi guys!

Just wanna show you guys my new 'patent peep platform heels' that I just received today from Zalora. I had a RM30 voucher that was given to me by my mom when she got it from Starbucks. I actually really hated Zalora because I've ordered 3 pairs of shoes a few months ago and I never received them. I did all the transaction through online shopping. However, this time I had to try my luck or else I'd be wasting the RM30 voucher. I called them this time so I'd really guarantee that they have received my order. And I was not let down. I received them after 4 days! 

The box that I received today which was humongous compared to the original size of the shoes. 

Isn't it the prettiest thing? The exact heel height is 13.5 cm. They're probably my new favorites out of my collection! They go with almost anything in my wardrobe (obviously because they're in a neutral color). Last but the most important thing; they're very comfy! They have this foam like thing, and has a very tall platform that supports your entire feet. It's really not that hard to walk in.

I really do think that they were worth the money.. and the wait (which was not that long)!

Would you guys like if I post things like these that I just got from shopping? I was just really excited to show you these ones because I was so happy with them. Tell me if I should do more :)

Summer 2012 Holiday (1st Week)

This was what I've been up to the past 1 week. 

End of exams (end of ADP!). Meeting Jojo finally after almost 2 years. Helping the boyfriend and his family move in to their new place. Tennis with Keymir and Murad. Fun chilled Friday night out with my buddies (Nathie, Sarah and Ifu). Hang out with Amal and the Pertiwi gang. Seeing old friends and Hanis comeback (Tania, Amal & Hanis). Hari Raya Open house on Sunday @ Amal's with Keymir and Murad. Watched Expendables 2.

Happy Hari Raya!

Hi guys!

I know, I've been away for a while.. that's because I've been having my holidays these past week. So much things were going on, and I didn't really get to stay at home.

As well all know, yesterday was the start of Hari Raya. It's a very big occasion here in Malaysia as it's a Muslim country. My boyfriend, Murad and I were invited by my friend Amal to her open house (which means a little get together by having a feast and just having fun, etc). That was by far my 3rd time going to an open house here in Malaysia. Very much like what we do in the Philippines during Christmas, when we visit our relatives in different places and pretty much just eat all day. :) However, we didn't get to spend a lot of time with them because 3 of us were going to watch a movie which was - the Expendables 2! 1 word = AWESOME. 

So this is what I wore yesterday for the open house and movie night.
